Hollywood is where George spent his last days, and Los Angeles is the music capital of the world where the Beatles became an unstoppable phenomenon and George worked frequently. Hollywood is where George's Memorial monument will stand forever, as the first and only cemetery Memorial anywhere in the world erected for George Harrison. The Memorial will host visitors from all over the US and world as people travel to the world class travel destination that is Los Angeles. This Memorial, being funded and placed by the public, a true expression of public appreciation.

The adjascent Paramount Studios lot was built on the back half of the Hollywood Cemetery property, where it of course remains in busy operation today.
